We've been long overdue to pay a visit to Think Tank in Kendall Square -- especially since Brother Cleve has taken over the reigns behind the bar. He'll be conjuring up one of his trademark cocktail/music/cinema theme nights for us, so this should be an Opus like no other. The concept is a Christmas Carol Reinvented, so count on Br. Cleve's variations on Dickensian era cocktails. In fact, you can get a sneak peak of the list here. I doubt your company holiday party can compete with that...

If you haven't been to Think Tank before, look for it in One Kendall Square, beneath the Friendly Toast (and near Flattop Jonnny's and Cambridge Brewing Company). We'll be at the bar from 6 to 9...and probably a bit beyond.

No matter what your interest or experience in the arts may be, you are welcome to come out -- by yourself or with friends. As always, individuals are responsible for running their own tabs at the bar.

...AND another thing: the new Boston representative for Google Places will be joining us. She'll be particularly generous to the first 40 people who show up and write (or have just written) a review of some local business on their platform. Wink, wink...

If you've never heard of our group before, here's the story: Opus Affair is a mix of artists and art appreciators in our 20s and 30s who get together each month for cocktails and to chat about the arts scene in Boston...or whatever else comes to mind. Some people come for serious networking, others come for fun. There's no formal program—just a chance to have a few drinks with other young professionals interested in the fine arts.
